Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive on-site evaluations to estimate residential painting projects accurately.
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their requirements and expectations, providing professional consultations and recommendations.
- Develop detailed project proposals including timelines, cost estimates, and material requirements based on client needs and site conditions.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and foster potential repeat business.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to facilitate seamless project onset and execution.
- Manage multiple project estimations simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay informed and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Participate in training and development sessions to enhance professional skills and industry knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in preparing project proposals and contracts.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on prospective and ongoing project statuses.
- Utilize CRM systems to maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and contractual details.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and project estimation, particularly in the residential painting or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of paint coatings, application techniques, and the ability to recommend solutions tailored to client needs.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation to ensure accurate project assessments and proposals.
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse client profiles.
- Effective listening skills, ensuring thorough understanding of client requirements and expectations.
- Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail, ensuring precision in all project estimations and client documentation.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, balancing multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and resilience in facing industry challenges.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other estimating tools to streamline project management processes.
- Minimum educational qualification of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Construction, or related fields.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel locally to meet with clients and assess project sites.
