We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cook to join our team. In this role, you will prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events while maintaining high food quality and safety standards.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is willing to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, production guidelines, and customer requests
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, peeling, and measuring food items
• Maintain food quality, freshness, and presentation standards
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures
• Clean and sanitize workstations, kitchen equipment, and food prep areas
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and supply organization
• Support meal preparation for customers with special dietary needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
• Follow company safety policies and report unsafe conditions when necessary
• Attend required food safety and training programs
• Perform additional duties as assigned
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 0–2 years of related kitchen, food service, or cooking experience
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation preferred

Skills

• Ability to read and follow recipes independently
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer knowledge is a plus
• Professional and dependable work ethic
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and 40 lbs occasionally
• Comfortable working in varying kitchen temperatures and moderate to loud environments
  

Schedule Requirements

• Flexible schedule availability preferred
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime if needed
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
