Ford of Northampton is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team in Northampton, MA. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and safety. This role offers an opportunity to work with the latest automotive technology in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs using manufacturer-approved tools and equipment.
- Conduct regular maintenance services including oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and engine tune-ups.
- Identify automotive issues accurately and provide recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of services and repairs performed on vehicles.
- Collaborate with other team members and service advisors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, engines, brakes, and diagnostics.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and software effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications or training in automotive repair preferred.
