Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

About the Position
Shift:
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour day shifts)
- 3 shifts/week (36 hrs, sometimes 48) [ For 36 hrs Gross Pay: $2,418.00 & For 48 hrs Gross Pay: $3,582.00]
- Every other weekend + holidays as needed
- Must float to other Med Surg units
Responsibilities (short):
- Care for post-op and medical-surgical patients
- Monitor telemetry (heart rhythms)
- Give meds, IV care, and routine treatments
- Watch for patient deterioration and escalate quickly
- Document care in EMR (Meditech)
- Typical load: about 1 nurse for 6 patients
Requirements
Requirements:
- 2+ years recent Med Surg experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Post-op patient care experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (must be active at submission)
- Massachusetts RN license
- Basic dysrhythmia course (strongly preferred)
- Meditech Expanse experience (preferred)
