Travel RN - Emergency Department (Contract Role)
Location: Beverly, MA 01915
Duration: 13-week Contract
Shift: 12-hr Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $2,448 - $2,628; (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment at a well-respected hospital in Beverly, MA . This role is ideal for a confident and compassionate RN who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department (ED).
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with ED physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Utilize clinical judgment to prioritize care based on patient needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and trauma cases.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Telemetry experience Required .
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred.
- Licensure:
- Active and Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts (MA) Required .
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Required
