Role focuses on consumer fintech product design, collaborating with brand, product, and engineering teams to deliver innovative financial services solutions for travel customers.

Role Responsibilities

• You will deliver hands-on design solutions for complex enterprise business scenarios and well-defined business problems, aligning with product partners’ vision and our business goals.
• You will actively engage in research and collaborate with our researcher to evaluate the impact of proposed solutions, driving improvements and refinements towards achieving desired outcomes in consumer fintech products.
• You will acquire deep domain knowledge in OTA (Online Travel Agency) business through daily collaboration with product leaders, analyzing research insights, and working closely with stakeholders.
• You will represent ‘Agoda Design’ by advocating user-centric design principles and engaging with external property partner touchpoints.
• You will collaborate with product stakeholders to drive continuous discovery processes, validating and shaping ideas to experiment with and build upon, thereby influencing enterprise product strategy and roadmap.

Experience Requirements & Role Expectations

• 6+ years of full-time experience as a UX/Interaction designer for digital or web-based products; in-house experience highly preferred.
• Experience in finance product development or fintech (preferred, but not required).
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders within an agile development process.
• Proficient in creating wireframes and high-fidelity UI using the latest design and prototyping tools.
• A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates design thinking, process, and solutions related to complex, transactional web-based products or mobile applications.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English.
• Strong visual design skills and familiarity with design systems.
• The Product Designer is an experienced problem solver for areas of high complexity, working with stakeholders across business, technology and marketing to influence and execute on the product team’s roadmap.
• The Designer also brings domain knowledge and expertise to co-create future user-centric product strategy with leadership, leading by creating alignment and articulating design decisions to drive the consumer fintech business’s long-term vision.
