About Mystic Valley Regional Charter School

Founded in 1998, Mystic Valley Regional Charter School (MVRCS) is a high-performing public K–12 charter school located in Malden, Massachusetts, serving more than 1,750 students.

At MVRCS, student success is built upon exceptional educators, a rigorous and content-rich curriculum, high academic expectations, and a commitment to traditional, teacher-led instruction. Consistently ranked among the top public schools in Massachusetts and New England, MVRCS prepares students for success in college and beyond through a strong academic foundation and a culture of excellence.

Students attend school for a 200-day academic year and benefit from an extended school day that provides approximately one additional hour of instruction compared to traditional public schools. A school-wide dress code and structured learning environment reinforce our commitment to academic achievement, personal responsibility, and character development.

About the Rosetta Stone Program

Rosetta Stone is a globally recognized language-learning platform that helps students develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through an immersive learning experience.

Using a structured immersion methodology, students learn Spanish naturally through authentic images, audio from native speakers, and interactive practice rather than direct translation. The program develops vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, conversation, reading, and writing skills while encouraging students to build language proficiency through meaningful, real-world communication.
