Job Description:

American Transport Team is hiring Class A CDL drivers for a local refrigerated delivery position . Drivers will haul groceries to stores and distribution centers, primarily within the NYC Boroughs and surrounding areas. This is a home daily position with weekends off and consistent start times .

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class A CDL vehicle for local deliveries

• Deliver to supermarkets and distribution centers

• Handle multi-stop routes (15–20 stops/week avg.)

• Assist with unloading using electric pallet jack (training provided)

• Occasionally pick up returns or backhauls

• Represent the company with professionalism and excellent customer service

Pay & Additional Compensation:

• $50 daily base rate (must work full 5-day week)

• $42 per NYC Borough stop

• $45 per lift gate stop

• Detention pay in 15-minute increments (on-time arrivals only)

• $20/hour for classroom safety training

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL

• Minimum 3 months recent CDL-A driving experience

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test

• Clean MVR and background

• Ability to commute to and from the dispatch location
