ISSO Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain IS security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, threats, and security incidents
- Conduct security assessments, audits, and compliance reviews
- Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and system authorization processes
- Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSP) and POA&Ms
- Ensure systems comply with regulatory standards and security requirements
- Perform vulnerability scanning, configuration assessments, and remediation
- Track and manage audit findings and ensure mitigation actions are completed
- Support continuous monitoring and security control implementation
- Collaborate with stakeholders including ISSM and program managers
- Provide incident reports, risk analysis, and security documentation
- Promote security awareness and best practices across teams

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
