Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Could you be the full-time Boston Logistics Operator we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your warehouse and logistics expertise in a fast-paced rail industry environment. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates who play a critical role in keeping materials moving to support operations and customer needs. You'll help ensure inventory accuracy, efficient material flow, and on-time shipments that contribute directly to the success of our business.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with supply chain, customer service, operations, and transportation partners, managing inbound and outbound material activities while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. You’ll specifically support receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping, and material transactions, while also assisting with cycle counts, process improvements, and special projects.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Receiving, verifying, and processing materials accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy through timely transactions and cycle counts
  • Picking, packing, crating, and shipping domestic and international orders
  • Operating forklifts safely and completing daily equipment inspections
  • Supporting same-day turnaround for receipts, shipments, goods issues, and inventory movements

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Valid state driver's license (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling operations
  • Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and material movement processes
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and standard Microsoft Office applications
  • Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification
  • Understanding of domestic and international shipping requirements
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records
  • Flexibility to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Hazardous Materials certification is a plus

Things you'll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey—the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You'll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with modern warehouse and logistics processes supporting rail transportation projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and helpful colleagues
  • Contribute to the efficient movement of materials that support customer operations
  • Develop your skills in inventory management, shipping, receiving, and supply chain processes
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
  • Benefit from our investment in your development through award-winning learning opportunities
  • Progress toward advanced logistics, inventory, and supply chain roles
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognizes your performance and potential

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse activities throughout the workday
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts

Work Environment

  • Warehouse and distribution environment
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and truck traffic
  • Regular interaction with transportation carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

Important to note

As a global business, we’re an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in. We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.
