Prescription Renewal Coordinator-Newton, MA
- Lead and supervise a team of Prescription Renewal Coordinators, ensuring departmental standards, staffing, and workflow compliance
- Train and onboard new hires, and update existing staff on new processes and policy changes
- Monitor performance, conduct quality reviews, and manage annual evaluations and disciplinary actions
- Resolve escalations from patients and staff, applying advanced problem-solving and customer service skills
- Collaborate with leadership to implement process improvements and support operational decision-making through data collection and reporting
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in a clinical and/or customer service setting
- Experience with EPIC or a similar electronic medical records system
- Proven solid interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and medical professionals
- Proven excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated sound judgment with the ability to work and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service to patients, staff and external customers in a professional, service-oriented, respectful manner using skills in active listening and problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to follow precedents and procedures
- 2+ years of experience in a Lead or Supervisory role
