System Administrator
Job Responsibilities:
- Modernizing Linux build system lifecycle by automating existing processes using infrastructure as code.
- Listening to cyber research staff needs and designing IT systems solutions to meet those needs based on program requirements, security guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Work with security compliance team to develop creative solutions to meet the needs of users while remaining compliant with government policy.
- Evolve and maintain classified development networks by working to upgrade hardware and software.
- Develop and refine comprehensive system documentation, ensuring the creation of detailed diagrams and standard operating procedures.
Skills:
- Required Skills/Experiences: Strong experience of Linux and windows experience, Networking experience like TCP/IP, UDP/IP, IT Security Policies (NIST/RMF/JSIG), Windows Server Platform, MS Active Directory, LDAP, Windows Server Platform, Programming Language (Ansible, Python, bash, PowerShell), Red hat, Technologies including DNS, DHCP, Proxy and Load Balancing.
- DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Additional Preferred Skills/Experiences: Red Hat Linux Certification
- Candidates must possess an active Top Secret clearance to be considered for this position. The selected candidate will be submitted for SCI access (candidates must be comfortable with this).
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or relevant technical field of study and associate degree is also workable as well as high school diploma.
