• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain existing products and recipes based on nutritional guidelines, consumer needs and production capabilities.
• Provide accurate and detailed product information to internal stakeholders.
• Manage and update nutritional labeling using Genesis product labeling software and nutrition analysis tools.
• Work with the food production team to keep formulation and kitting sheets current, maintaining product quality while striving to reduce manufacturing costs.
• Analyze and verify the nutritional content of products, emphasizing macro and micronutrients and amino acids, critical to the target market.
• Communicate with ingredient suppliers and vendors to identify and qualify alternative ingredients.
• Support marketing team and medical affairs by providing nutrition information for special projects.

• Bachelor's food science, nutrition, culinary science, dietetics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in food product development or nutritional science.
• Demonstrated ability to assist with food formulations from bench top to commercialization in bakery products, frozen entrees and / or dry blends for such applications.
• Experience working in a small/mid-sized industrial baking facility preferred or food and /or nutrition company.
• Experience with food formulation & manufacturing; baking and frozen food experience desired.
• Experience tailoring food formulations to meet the defined nutritional requirements, functionality of ingredients as well as regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with clinical nutrition product formulation and nutrition labeling software, especially Genesis.

• English: C1 – Advanced

• Experience with aseptic processing/Tetra Pak®.
• Exposure to nutritional modeling software.
• Knowledge of intellectual property strategies in product development.
