Tax Senior
Kforce's client, a well-established professional services firm located just south of Boston, has an immediate need for a Tax Senior. They are one of the leading firms in and throughout the area. Our mission is to help clients maintain financial viability in the present, while taking a proactive approach to achieve future goals. Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of Individual, S-Corp, C-Corp, Partnership and Trust tax returns
- Preparation of year-end workpapers and proposing adjusting entries
- Tax research and communication with clients and staff
- Tax planning and projections
- Preparation of financial statements for compilation and review engagements
- Strong communication skills
- Overtime (including Saturdays) is required during tax season (capped at 50 hours)
- 3-7 years of related tax experience within professional services and related qualifications (CPA, EA, MST)
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
