As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control points, document activity, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and emergency responders while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors to appropriate check-in locations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and promptly notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Have CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
