Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team in a machine shop/manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations . The ideal candidate has strong HR experience in manufacturing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
• Manage full-cycle recruitment (job postings, sourcing, interviewing)
• Develop and maintain onboarding processes (30/60/90 day plans)
• Partner with managers/supervisors to identify hiring needsCompensation & Benefits
• Administer company benefits (401K, Medical, Dental, STD, LTD)
• Process benefit enrollments and reconcile billing
• Accurately process payroll and resolve payroll/W-2 issuesEmployee Relations
• Address employee concerns and resolve workplace conflicts
• Manage counseling and disciplinary actions
• Implement engagement, training, and development programsCompliance & Policies
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies
• Support safety committee initiatives and risk mitigationOther duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail with high accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP systems
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
HR experience in a manufacturing environment
