LPN/LVN School 1.1

The 1:1 School LPN/LVN is responsible for identifying andaddressing health concerns in students within the school setting. This roleincludes promoting general wellness, providing health education, and supportingdisease prevention efforts. The School LPN/LVN monitors the student's physicalcondition throughout the school day and refers to appropriate healthcareresources when necessary. All care is delivered in accordance with the SchoolLPN/LVN scope of practice and in compliance with applicable state educationcodes. Minimum Requirements: + Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice + Current LPN/LVN license in the state which services arebeing provided + One year of school nurse experience, preferred + One-year pediatric experience, pre + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age 1:1 LPNwith transport for 14 year old male student. Student has constant monitoring ofrespiration, C-Pap machine, Oxygen, g-tube, seizures, orthopedic needs.
