Product Support Engineer

A leading international manufacturer of high-speed inkjet printers is looking for a product support engineer based in the Midwest. Ideal location is based in Chicago. Open to any good print management IT experts living in MN, IL, WI, MI, or IN. You get to work remotely from home. Expect to travel to their dealer network, end users or printers to help with software and IT support. You also get to train dealers and customers on basic software and IT troubleshooting techniques for their machinery. Strong communication and computer skills are keys to the role. The ability to work on your own and in teams is essential for success. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong software and IT-related background with print production experience.

You are expected to travel over 50% of the time regionally, covering the Midwest upper states. When you are not on the road, expect to be at home handling phone calls and providing technical support. The starting base salary is between $70k and $80k, with an excellent benefit program. All travel expenses are covered, and you should have a per diem.
