Job Summary
Under the direction of the section supervisor/manager, performs a wide variety of manual and automated laboratory procedures utilizing independent judgment and maintaining responsibility for assigned duties. Must be computer literate and have a basic understanding of computer interfaces.

Qualifications

- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Windows. - able to communicate and write in English for the communication and documentation of work duties. - clinical Internship as part of an Associate or Bachelor's degree Program or One year post degree experience within a CLIA laboratory performing High Complexity Testing required - Bachelor's degree from a University or college in medical laboratory Science (MLS), medical Technology (MT), or clinical laboratory Science (CLS) or - Bachelor's degree in related Science with experience defined above. - certification eligible: ASCP or equivalent (NCA, AMT, HEW) required - MT, CLS, MLS (ASCP) or equivalent (NCA, AMT, HEW) preferred
