Title: Sr. Project Manager, Corporate FI & Enterprise Risk

Location: Springfield, MA

Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Pay: $82/hr.

Duration: 12+ Months

Overview:

• Tier4 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support initiatives across Corporate Finance and Enterprise Risk . In this role, you will report directly to the Portfolio Lead and be responsible for the planning, day‑to‑day execution, implementation, and reporting of projects while adhering to defined project management processes and standards.
• This portfolio oversees initiatives across Corporate Finance, Enterprise Risk, and Investment Management, while also defining and owning project management standards across the organization. The team is focused on driving alignment across critical programs, increasing visibility into project work, and enabling improved prioritization, collaboration, and execution across corporate functions.
• This position supports enterprise change initiatives by delivering projects through a standardized lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, and close. The Project Manager will partner closely with project sponsors and portfolio leadership to develop and manage project artifacts tailored to project complexity, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery expectations.

The Impact

As the Project Manager, you will:

• Partner with Project Sponsors and Functional Managers to compile Discovery artifacts such as a Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA), Project Charter, high level Resource Plan, and high-level Milestone Plan to be reviewed to receive Discovery Funding
• Develop and maintain required Detailed Planning artifacts and manage plan execution
• Determine project scope and manage scope execution
• Develop financial forecasts, record cost variance, anticipate and address delivery challenges, and request budget changes if needed following associated Change Request Process
• Develop high-level milestones during Discovery and develop detailed project schedules during Detailed Planning
• Based on complexity assessment and with guidance on each project, refine the resource plan, develop a RACI Matrix, conduct a Key-Person Risk Assessment, and Third-Party Support Needs Assessment
• Ensure early identification, resolution, and escalation of project risks through maintenance of Risk and Issue Log and project Pre-Mortem activity
• Accountable for meeting all business requirements from development through implementation

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience, 2 within a PMO
• 3+ years of experience leading projects impacting core Investment Manager, Financial and Capital Market systems and business processes
• Project management software including but not limited to MS Project, Smartsheet, and Jira
• Experience with Investment Management Systems
