Summary:

The Paint Shop Robot Assistant helps run, monitor, and maintain automated painting systems. This includes but is not limited to part preparation, loading/unloading, quality inspection, mixing paint, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance like filter changes and cleaning to ensure consistent, high-quality finishes while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Compensation range :

$16.00-$21.00

First Shift : Monday – Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM

Job Functions:

• Obtain paint specified for the job from the paint inventory.
• Mix with appropriate thinner as required for spraying viscosity.
• Mix two-part urethane paint and reducer
• Spray paint parts to specifications
• Inspect parts for compliance with customer’s specifications
• Pour surplus paint into waste paint bucket beside booth for collection as hazardous waste by the material handler.
• Replace filters and clean spray booth as required.
• Move materials and perform housekeeping as required.

• Good eye/hand coordination, finger dexterity, and color sensitivity.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others.
• Ability to follow work instructions.
• Performs jobs in a manner that minimizes hazards to self, others and the environment. Maintains a physical work environment that contributes to the well-being of others. Being aware of conditions or circumstances that affect one’s own safety or the safety of others.
• Demonstrates a high level of dependability in all aspects of the job.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of industrial spray painting experience. Candidates with a background in automotive refinishing or high-precision manufacturing coatings are strongly encouraged to apply.

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally moves equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.

• Must be able to Ascend/Descend stairs.

• Must be able to Sit, Stand, Walk, Climb, Stoop, Kneel.
