Visiting Angels of the Berkshires is currently searching for Caregivers/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Assistant/Companion to perform services in and around Pittsfield as well as several other areas including Great Barrington, Shelburne Falls, Williamsburg, Huntington, and Williamstown areas. Responsibilities* Provide personal hygiene assistance such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating.

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting clients during each visit.

Qualifications* Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

• Ability to perform job functions and willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day
• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

• Prior experience is beneficial but not a must, we will train you
