When a homeowner experiences water damage, fire damage, or a major property loss, they’re facing one of the most stressful situations of their life.

At Boston Harbor Water Restoration, we help families recover by restoring and rebuilding their homes quickly, professionally, and with exceptional quality.

We’re growing rapidly and looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential reconstruction projects from contract signing through final completion.

What You’ll Do:

As a Construction Project Manager, you will take ownership of reconstruction projects and ensure they are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Project Management

• Manage residential reconstruction projects from contract signing through final completion
• Create and maintain project schedules and timelines
• Monitor budgets, costs, and profitability
• Coordinate all phases of construction activity
• Ensure projects remain on track and meet quality standards

Subcontractor & Vendor Management

• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
• Ensure work is completed according to scope, timeline, and quality expectations
• Hold subcontractors accountable for performance and deadlines
• Manage material procurement and delivery schedules

Client Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the reconstruction process
• Provide regular project updates and manage expectations
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience during a challenging time

Operational Excellence

• Identify and resolve project issues before they impact schedules or budgets
• Track project performance and key metrics
• Help improve processes, workflows, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with leadership to support company growth and profitability

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of construction project management experience
• Experience managing residential or commercial construction projects
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

• Restoration, insurance reconstruction, or disaster recovery experience
• Experience working with subcontractors and trade partners
• Knowledge of residential construction methods and building codes
• Xactimate experience is a plus
• Insurance restoration industry experience is highly desirable
