Compensation & Benefits:

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): One week after 90 days; an additional week at 6 months of employment

Job Summary: The Production Area Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of assigned production areas—Kitchen, Assembly, or Packing—while maintaining adherence to food safety, quality, and productivity standards. This role oversees day-to-day line activities, assigns staff, monitors workflow, and ensures accurate documentation.


The Production Area Supervisor works closely with Production Leadership and other departments to maintain schedules, meet production goals, and support a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure compliance with food safety and company standards.
  • Monitor and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) during all production activities.
  • Inspect and report any food safety or quality concerns, equipment issues, or process deviations.
  • Review the daily production schedule to prepare and set up lines efficiently.
  • Monitor workflow, product weights, and yields to meet production goals.
  • Assign employees to positions on the line and oversee performance and productivity.
  • Provide required materials and resources to the line as needed.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation.
  • Maintain established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety policies.
  • Collaborate with other Area Supervisors and departments to keep operations on schedule.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a clean, safe work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food or manufacturing environments (ideally more than 1 year).
  • Knowledge of GMPs required.
  • Strong ability to monitor line efficiency, assign staff, and complete daily production paperwork.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and basic Excel preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coach and resolve conflict.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Flexibility to work 1st shift hours until production is complete (no fixed end time).
  • Ability to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds and work in variable temperature environments.
