Haddad GMC is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Adams, MA. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles to ensure they run safely and efficiently. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong mechanical background and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and engine diagnostics
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems accurately using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Maintain detailed records of service and repairs performed
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding needed repairs and timelines
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an automotive service technician program or relevant work experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Competitive pay ranging from $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, paid weekly
