Role: AV Engineer (Enterprise / Global Environment)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (In-office) (Will consider Lake Mary or Boston)

Managers: Reports to Eric Greene, works closely with Cody Haiden in the Engineering area.

Team Size: AV team consists of ~30 people.

Overview

We are looking for a strong technologist with enterprise-scale AV engineering experience to support a global environment (100+ locations worldwide, 50k+ event capacity). This person will ensure backend systems, infrastructure, and scalability are in place to support collaboration, communication, and live events across the enterprise.

This role requires cross-functional collaboration, vendor management, and deep technical knowledge of AV, networking, and integration systems. The focus is on infrastructure and scalability-not live production or control room operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise AV infrastructure across a global footprint.
• Partner cross-functionally to gather requirements and deliver scalable, secure AV solutions.
• Support collaboration platforms: Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
• Work with vendors to manage relationships and oversee delivery of AV solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure and network readiness for large-scale live events (50k+ participants).
• Support modern workplace technologies, including digital signage, wayfinding, IPTV, and RoomOS.
• Collaborate with the events team to ensure infrastructure readiness (not live production).

Core Technical Skills

• Collaboration / AV Platforms: Cisco, Microsoft (Teams), Zoom.
• Infrastructure & Networking: VOIP (Cisco VOIP preferred), LAN/WAN, QoS.
• Cloud & Identity: Azure (security, SSO integrations), SKIM, OIDC, SAML.
• Modern Workplace: Digital signage, wayfinding, IPTV, RoomOS.
• Event Infrastructure: Knowledge of global event scaling and how it ties to networking & security.

Preferred Experience

• Strong background in Cisco and Microsoft environments.
• Vendor management and vendor relationship experience.
• Hands-on collaboration engineering (not necessarily hands-on network engineering).
• Experience working in global, enterprise-scale AV environments.
• Event support background (ensuring infrastructure readiness for large events).

Interview Process: 2+ Rounds. This is a Sr. Level Role- SVP so they want to make sure that they are bringing in the right person. (EC -3)
