Colony Care at Home, an affiliate of Mason Wright Foundation, is seeking an experienced, motivated, and collaborative Assistant Director, Home Care Operations to help lead our growing private duty home care agency.

Working closely with the Executive Director, the Assistant Director provides operational leadership for the agency, ensuring exceptional client service, regulatory compliance, efficient office operations, and continued business growth. What You'll Do

As Assistant Director, you will:

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of agency operations.
  • Supervise and support the administrative office team.
  • Provide oversight and backup support for scheduling and staffing.
  • Review payroll, timekeeping, scheduling, and productivity reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Massachusetts home care regulations and agency policies.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and support regulatory readiness.
  • Partner with clients, families, caregivers, and referral sources to ensure exceptional service.
  • Assist with marketing, community outreach, and business development initiatives.
  • Represent Colony Care at networking events, community meetings, and referral partner visits.
  • Serve as acting director in the Executive Director's absence.
  • Participate in the agency's after-hours and weekend on-call rotation.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Human Services, Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Three or more years of progressive leadership experience in home care, healthcare operations, or healthcare administration.
  • At least two years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience with scheduling, payroll, employee timekeeping, and office operations.
  • Knowledge of Massachusetts home care regulations and quality assurance practices preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic scheduling or healthcare software (eRSP, EVV, or similar).
  • Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation.

Schedule:

This is a full-time, exempt position. Typical office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, flexibility is required to meet operational needs, including participation in the agency's after-hours and weekend on-call rotation. Local travel is required.
