Job Title: HR Generalist

Job Description

We are seeking an HR Generalist for a long-term contract role based in Fall River, MA. This position is pivotal in providing daily HR support to a manufacturing site, enhancing the employee experience, and ensuring smooth HR operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals early in their HR careers who are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee questions and HR inquiries.

  • Support documentation of employee relations cases, investigations, and associated follow-ups.

  • Assist managers with basic HR policy interpretation under the guidance of senior HR staff.

  • Support tracking for attendance issues, corrective actions, and policy compliance.

  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team with interview scheduling, candidate communication, and logistics.

  • Post job requisitions, monitor candidate movement, and support applicant management within the ATS.

  • Participate in interview panels for entry-level roles, as trained.

  • Support job fairs, campus recruiting, and trainee pipeline initiatives.

  • Coordinate pre-hire activities including document collection, background checks, and onboarding tasks.

  • Manage logistics for new hire orientation and ensure a seamless first-day experience.

  • Maintain onboarding materials, checklists, and compliance documentation.

  • Assist with logistical coordination for Trainee Programs, including onboarding and engagement programs.

  • Maintain trackers for trainee timelines, documentation, and program milestones.

  • Support orientation and training rotations for trainees.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources.

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with FMLA.

  • Proficiency in recruiting.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing/GMP environments.

  • Bilingual capabilities are advantageous.

Work Environment

This role is 100% on-site at a manufacturing facility located in Fall River, MA. The work environment is fast-paced and regulated, requiring adherence to specific guidelines and procedures.

This is a Contract position based out of Fall River, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
