Java Full Stack Developer
Akkodis is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a Contract with a client in North Quincy, MA (Remote). You will build scalable intranet applications with secure authentication/authorization and execute enterprise-level integrations to support end‑to‑end functionality .
Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java Full Stack Developer job responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain custom intranet applications using React, Java, and Spring Boot with seamless internal and external integrations.
Build and consume secure APIs, ensuring strong authentication, authorization, and compliance with enterprise security standards.
Design scalable, high‑performance architectures to support complex business workflows and integrations.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, refine technical specifications, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
Perform code reviews, optimize application performance, and ensure best practices in coding, security, and design.
Troubleshoot application issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions within agile development frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6–8 years of hands‑on experience in full‑stack development using Java, Spring Boot, React, and API-based architectures.
Strong proficiency in building secure, scalable applications with enterprise-grade integrations.
Proven experience in authentication/authorization, API development, and implementing best practices for security and performance.
