Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate line cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in the cooking and plating of dishes, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. This role requires a strong commitment to food safety and a deep understanding of kitchen operations, ensuring that each dish is prepared safely and to the highest standard. Our line cooks will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience for our guests while supporting the efficiency and safety of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff and Head Chef to ensure timely service, especially during peak hours.
• Participate in catering events as required, showcasing culinary skills in various settings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the food industry, specifically in line cook preparation or similar roles.
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and cooking techniques.
• Experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation processes.
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods.
• Dietary department experience or dietary aide experience is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
