Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract-to-hire position is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) seeking to make a difference in students’ lives. Immediate start is available and the assignment runs through the end of July.
Located near New Bedford, MA, this role offers a manageable caseload of 10-15 students, allowing for meaningful interactions and personalized care. The assignment is structured for 4-5 hours per day, five days a week, providing a balanced work schedule that fits your lifestyle.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Massachusetts SLP or SLPA license (required)
- Open to new graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings is highly valued
- Ability to deliver engaging and individualized treatment plans for students
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication services to students as part of a supportive school team
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and document progress for students on your caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement creative therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate records and comply with Massachusetts state regulations
