Barista at Starbucks
Join our dynamic team at Starbucks, where we are passionate about creating a welcoming environment and delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. As a Barista, you will be the face of our brand, engaging with customers and ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages in accordance with Starbucks standards
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including equipment and workstations
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
- Upsell products and promote new offerings to enhance the customer experience
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during shifts
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or food and beverage role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash register operations
- Passion for coffee, beverages, and creating positive customer interactions
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when needed
