Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. This role involves the operation of radiographic equipment with a focus on X-rays, while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Work schedule includes day shifts, every Monday and Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., totaling 24 hours weekly. This is a travel position suited for candidates seeking flexibility.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology (required)
• State license as a Radiologic Technologist (required)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• 1-2 years experience in radiology technology
• Proficiency in X-ray, CT, and MRI imaging procedures and equipment operation
• Deep knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient positioning techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with meticulous attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs as ordered
• Prepare and position patients with care to ensure comfort and reduce anxiety
• Operate and adjust imaging equipment for optimal image quality
• Monitor and uphold radiation safety measures, using protective devices appropriately
• Review images for technical accuracy and document procedures efficiently in EMR systems
• Troubleshoot technical issues to maintain imaging quality standards
