About This Role:
As the Associate Director of Integrated Insights & Analytics, you will take on a pivotal individual contributor role within the US Decision Sciences team. Collaborating closely with the US Brand team, you will be the driving force behind generating actionable customer and market insights for a single inline or pipeline asset across various indications. Your role will be to own and develop the integrated insights narrative, synthesizing primary research and secondary data to create executive-ready storytelling that significantly influences brand and launch decisions. This position is vital to bridging the gap between data and strategic decision-making, ensuring that insights translate into impactful business outcomes. By working collaboratively across functions, you will ensure that insights are seamlessly integrated into broader business strategies.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the go-to insights partner for the asset, aligning work to brand priorities and decision points.
- Own the integrated insights narrative across research and secondary analytics; translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Design and execute primary market research (e.g., segmentation, message testing, patient/HCP studies) to answer priority business questions.
- Analyze and synthesize secondary data (e.g., claims, specialty pharmacy, market data) to track performance, diagnose drivers, and surface opportunities.
- Frame ambiguous problems, propose the right research/analytics approach, and manage vendor scope, timelines, and deliverables end-to-end.
- Develop executive-ready materials (storylines, slides, readouts) tailored to senior stakeholders, present with clarity and confidence.
- Partner cross-functionally (e.g., Marketing, Forecasting, Field/Omnichannel, Market Access) to translate insights into action.
- Contribute to Integrated Customer Planning (ICP) and budget planning by providing customer/market inputs that guide resource choices.
- Support KPI and dashboard requirements by defining questions, metrics, and implications (in collaboration with analytics/reporting partners).
Who You Are:
You are a skilled insights practitioner who thrives on connecting the dots across research and data to convey a clear narrative. Your comfort with ambiguity allows you to structure questions, select appropriate methods, and drive decisions effectively. As a credible cross-functional partner, you adapt your communication style to resonate with varied audiences. You possess high ownership and execution discipline, enabling you to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Required Skills:
- 8-10 years of experience in market research and/or secondary analytics in biotech/pharma or healthcare consulting.
- Depth in at least two competency areas: primary research methods and secondary analytics (forecasting familiarity as a plus).
- Demonstrated experience leading projects end-to-end (problem definition, approach, vendor management, synthesis, and communication).
- Strong synthesis and storytelling skills; ability to produce concise, executive-ready PowerPoint deliverables.
- Working knowledge of common pharma data sources (e.g., claims, specialty pharmacy, IQVIA/market data) and analysis/visualization tools.
