DTI is seeking a full-time Junior Buyer/Expeditor who will participate as a team memberwithin a small accounting department. This is a great opportunity for someone eager towork in a challenging, innovative, fast-paced technical organization based inBedford, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:
Obtain critical materials, components, equipment and services as required
Engage purchasing activities: Secure quotes, initiate purchase orders
Contact vendors for updated delivery dates when necessary
Coordinate receiving activity, organize received parts and equipment
Manage parts and parts tracking system
Engage other tasks as directed to support production processes

Requirements:
One to three years business experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with basic financial/accounting systems, such as Costpoint
Experience:

• • interacting routinely with external parties to effectively resolve difficult issues
  • utilizing computer systems to process and track/update status
  • maintaining and organizing company files

Excellent attention to detail for precise data logging (spreadsheet, databases, etc.)

Self-motivated, organized individual with strong follow-through skills

Strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to work under pressure and handle multiple priority tasks, as needed

Compensation:
Salary range: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on qualification and experience
