Physical Therapy Assistant - PTA | German Centre
$38.00 - $42.00/hour , based on experience

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to improve residents' mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor resident progress, document treatment outcomes, and communicate changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and the safe use of assistive devices.
• Complete accurate documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support quality resident care.

Qualifications for Success:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Minimum 1-year experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
