Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a College in Beverly MA

Monday - Friday 3 PM - 11 PM

Starting Pay is $19.28 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officer in Beverly, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. You will contribute to daily campus operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while helping people first in a dynamic and reliable workplace.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or local responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned locations, verifying credentials and/or visitor access in accordance with location policies and post instructions.
• Support a professional campus environment by assisting with routine inquiries, directing foot traffic, and communicating clearly with staff and/or students regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
