Environmental Designer [81846] (Boston)

Our client, a leading design firm is hiring an Environmental Designer to support their primary team. The client is a dynamic company specializing in innovative spatial solutions, values collaboration and design excellence. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within a creative environment.

• Hybrid in Boston
• Healthcare architecture preferred, and must know RHINO software

Environmental Designer Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external architecture partners, ensuring design vision consistency.
• Develop and refine design concepts using Rhino, integrating feedback and evolving ideas.
• Select colors, materials, and finishes to meet project specifications.
• Produce renderings in TwinMotion or similar tools to visually communicate design ideas.
• Prepare and update design documentation, collaborating with architects for finalization and accuracy.

Environmental Designer Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Rhino for design development.
• Portfolio showing multidisciplinary design and architectal skills, showing consumer-led retail, hospitality, and entertainment spaces
• Knowledge of color, material, and finish specifications.
• Experience with rendering software such as TwinMotion or equivalents.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to work from existing plans.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with vendors and architecture firms.
• Experience delivering completed design projects on schedule.
• (Bonus) Background in healthcare architecture preferred.
