Senior Cloud Engineer
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in Boston, MA. Responsibilities:
- Senior Cloud Engineer will deliver secure, reliable, and well-governed AWS application infrastructure using Terraform Enterprise (TFE)
- Collaborate with application squads to translate design patterns and compliance controls into Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Author Terraform code and raise merge requests for infrastructure changes
- As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will perform peer reviews of Terraform code to ensure quality and adherence to standards
- Deploy infrastructure via Terraform Enterprise and validate against functional and compliance requirements
- Ensure all IaC passes policy checks and meets governance standards
- AWS services: VPC, Subnets, Routing, Security Groups, IAM, KMS, S3, CloudWatch, EC2, RDS/Aurora
- Terraform: v1.x, AWS provider v5/6, modules, workspaces, remote state, dynamic blocks, lifecycle, data sources, safe state practices
- Terraform Enterprise: plans/applies, RBAC, workspaces/variable sets, run tasks, drift management, multi-workspace/account state hygiene
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills for cross-team delivery
