Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SHOP FOREMAN to oversee daily operations in our fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in miscellaneous metals, leadership experience, and the ability to manage production schedules while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities :

- Supervise and coordinate shop personnel, assigning daily tasks and monitoring progress.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Oversee fabrication of stairs, railings, ladders, embeds, canopies, and other architectural or structural metal components
- Ensure projects meet deadlines, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Manage material inventory, equipment maintenance, and workflow efficiency
- Work closely with project managers, detailers, and installers to coordinate shop and field needs
- Train and mentor fabricators and welders, fostering a productive and safety-conscious work environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, stick) and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and architectural plans.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- OSHA safety knowledge and certification a plus
