Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room across monitored surgical procedures.
- Prepare the OR, ensure sterile technique, and assist the surgical team as scrub/circulating nurse.
- Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-operatively; document intraoperative events and outcomes.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; verify patient identity and surgical site.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and support staff to ensure efficient, safe procedures.
- Adhere to hospital policies, incident reporting, and perioperative protocols.

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
- 2 years of current Operating Room RN experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required
- Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) must be uploaded upfront with traveler profile
- Traveler must have own vehicle for this assignment
- RTO requests: must be listed at submission; no more than 3 days of RTO accepted; requests after upload may be rescinded
- Ability to work in a hospital OR setting and to comply with perioperative practices
