Machine & Equipment Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of light & heavy machinery, including excavators of all sizes, skid steers, track loaders and mini skid steers in a safe and efficient manner.

• Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance I.E. greasing machinery, inspections, calibrations.

• Work on the site with the landscaping and construction teams to complete projects on time and within budget.

• Follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to accurately perform grading, excavation, and earthmoving tasks.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow.

• Maintain machine activity logs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in landscaping or construction.

• Valid driver's license. (Required)

• Hoisting license. (Preferred)

• Strong knowledge of heavy machinery & equipment operations, safety protocols, and maintenance.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
