Assembler
Our client in Gloucester, MA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler to join their team. This role involves assembling electro-mechanical components and following detailed work instructions to ensure high-quality products.
Pay: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies.
- Build PCBAs, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and power supplies.
- Configure purchased components to customer specifications.
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Follow all safety, quality, and workplace organization standards.
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Participate in cross-training and assist with training when needed.
Requirement:
- Experience with mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
