A growing independent school is seeking a polished and experienced Executive Assistant to support its Head of School. This is a high-visibility, mission-driven role where you will serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership and play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the Head’s office.

Position Overview
The Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and strategic support to the Head of School and Senior Leadership Team. This includes managing complex calendars, coordinating travel, preparing high-level materials, and ensuring seamless execution of daily priorities. The role also involves significant interaction with the Board of Trustees and broader school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex and ever-changing calendars for the Head of School
- Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics
- Prepare presentations, reports, and high-level communications
- Partner closely with senior leadership to support organizational initiatives
- Coordinate Board of Trustees meetings, including agendas, materials, and recordkeeping
- Serve as a liaison across faculty, staff, parents, and external stakeholders
- Support school-wide events and leadership meetings
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Head’s office
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of Executive Assistant experience
- Background in education or nonprofit environments strongly preferred (education ideal)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
HOURS: 8AM-4PM / Monday-Thursday / 8AM-2PM Friday
