The Order Selector will accurately and safely prepare orders for shipping from our North Dartmouth MA warehouse to customer locations. General warehouse duties include selecting stock, staging pallets, and operating a forklift or electronic pallet jack to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
Specific Duties:
- Select and assemble materials from stock onto pallets.
- Load stock onto trucks for delivery to customers or unload stock from incoming deliveries.
- Transport and store incoming stock in the warehouse.
- Check and rotate product according to date code and first in first out criteria.
- Occasional warehouse cleaning activities.
Job Requirements and skills :
- Ability to read a sales order and locate specific storage areas within the warehouse.
- Use of safe work practices including safe body mechanics
- Good Communication skills
- Must become a member of the Teamsters Local #59 after 30 days of hire.
- Must obtain a forklift operator’s certification through Colonial Beverages internal certification process.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Will be required to complete a pre-employment drug screen including a test for marijuana.
