CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift Precision Manufacturing Leader | Bellingham, MA Join a Global Leader in Precision Tooling! We are looking for a dedicated, high-skill CNC Machinist to join our 2nd Shift production team. Pay & Schedule

• Hourly Rate: Up to $40.00 per hour (includes shift differential, based on experience).

• Shift: 2nd Shift (Typical hours: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM).

• Status: Full-Time with competitive benefits.

️ Core Responsibilities

• Setup & Operation: Perform complex setups and operate CNC mills, lathes, and screw machines to produce high-tolerance fastener tooling.

• Programming & Edits: Utilize Mastercam or CamWorks for programming; perform on-machine G-code edits to optimize production.

• Quality First: Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, comparators) to ensure parts meet strict blueprint specifications.

• Team Collaboration: Partner with the Engineering team to improve manufacturing processes and part manufacturability.

✅ What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of CNC machining and setup experience (background in header tooling or the fastener industry is a huge plus).

• Technical Savvy: Expert at reading complex blueprints and a working understanding of GD&T.

• Software: Proficiency in Mastercam and/or SolidWorks preferred.

• Reliability: A commitment to the 2nd shift schedule and a "quality-first" work ethic.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Setup & Operation: Perform complex setups and maintain production quality on manual and CNC equipment.

• Programming: Utilize Mastercam or CamWorks software for tooling and fixture programming.

• Process Improvement: Work with Engineering to improve manufacturing processes and the manufacturability of precision parts.

• Quality Control: Interpret blueprints and design sketches; use micrometers, verniers, and comparators to ensure tight tolerances.

• Multi-tasking: Operate multiple machines simultaneously when required.
