Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and stock the assigned station with all necessary ingredients, tools, and supplies before service begins.
- Chop vegetables, butcher meats, and prepare sauces or simple dish components.
- Execute menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Communicate with other stations to ensure all parts of a table's order are completed simultaneously and sent out together.
- Maintain a clean workspace, comply with food safety regulations, and ensure proper food storage.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, wrap and label leftovers, and restock for the next shift.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in various cooking methods (grilling, frying, sautéing) and expert knife-handling skills.
- Ability to stand for long shifts (8–12 hours) in high-heat environments and lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
- Capacity to multi-task and work efficiently under extreme time pressure during "rushes".
- Prefer 1–2 years of kitchen experience
