As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Support staff, visitors, and/or contractors with directions and general assistance while maintaining awareness of site conditions and following Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 or more years of security-related experience are required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
