Director Executive Communications- Chief People Officer
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with the People strategy.
- Prepare high-impact messaging, talking points, and content for the CPO for internal, external platforms including Town Halls, leadership meetings, press interviews, events, panels, and social media.
- Create executive communications such as internal announcements, speeches, presentations, thought leadership, external facing talk tracks & presentations, and blogs/social media content.
- Translate complex HR initiatives (e.g., event driven Compensation & Benefits, talent development, performance management) into clear, compelling narratives.
- Ensure consistency and clarity in leadership messaging across channels.
- Ghostwrite internal and external communications for the CPO [and People leadership team, as needed].
- In support of the People Team senior leadership team, develop storytelling efforts that highlight employee voices, success stories, and milestones.
- Support change management communications for organizational transformations
- Oversee internal communications for CPO across platforms (e.g., email, intranet, Slack, newsletters).
- Optimize communication cadence and format for different employee segments (e.g., functional, company-wide, country specific, global).
- Partner with IT or Comms teams to improve digital communication tools and analytics
- At least 8 – 12 years of communications experience, ideally in the tech or software industry
- Experience writing communications, speeches and other content for CEO/executive c-suite
- Exceptional writer, with experience spanning speech writing, messaging and storytelling
- Proven ability to collaborate with, influence, and manage cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or tech environments
- Strong understanding of organizational culture, HR, and change management principles
- Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and proactively take action independently without waiting for direction
- Self-starter who actively seeks out opportunities to contribute and improve processes
- Proven track record of identifying and addressing issues before they become problems
