Executive Assistant to the VP of Student Affairs
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of Student Affairs at a prestigious Boston university. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, student-focused environment. With a competitive pay rate of $35 - $40 per hour, you will oversee executive scheduling, coordinate high-level meetings and events, manage sensitive communications, and serve as the primary liaison between the VP and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Scheduling – Manage a complex calendar, prioritize meetings, and resolve conflicts
- Stakeholder Communication – Act as the VP’s first point of contact, handling inquiries professionally
- Travel & Event Coordination – Arrange logistics for domestic and occasional international trips
- Expense & Budget Management – Process reimbursements and manage financial transactions via Workday
- Office Operations – Maintain records, order supplies, and streamline administrative processes
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant to a VP or C-suite leader. Expertise in Google Calendar/Outlook, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Workday for expense reporting
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage urgent requests and shifting priorities while engaging with students, faculty, and parents
- Experience coordinating meetings, booking venues, and handling complex travel arrangements
- Higher Education or Multi-Executive Support Experience is a plus
